Daktronics Installated 80 LED Displays in Amman, Jordan

According to reports, American LED display manufacturer Daktronics announced that it has supplied 80 LED displays to Jordanian media service company Seagulls for a city-wide project in the capital Amman.

The pixel pitch of 80 LED display screens is 3.9mm, and the viewing distance is closer. Among them, 50 blocks have a display area of 2 square meters, and the other 30 blocks have a display area of 8 square meters. All display screens are installed across the city of Amman to share digital advertising information for pedestrians.

It is understood that Daktronics' orders for fiscal year 2020 amounted to US$620.8 million, an increase year-on-year. According to TrendForce's "2020 Global LED Display Market Outlook-Corporate Meetings, Sales Channels and Price Trends" report, from 2018 to 2019 global LED display manufacturers' revenue rankings, Daktronics is ranked third in the world. . In 2019, the company's market share was 8.2%. At present, Daktronics is working with X Display Company (XDC) to switch to small-pitch LED displays and new display technologies.
